Local impact
What do we do?
The Intercultural Life association plays a key role in the social and cultural revitalization of our town, Trasmulas, and its surroundings. With the goal of building a more inclusive society and promoting sustainable rural development, it addresses social challenges in the Vega of Granada in collaboration with various local stakeholders.
Through educational and environmental projects, international meetings, and community activities, i-life strengthens the social fabric of the town and promotes values such as inclusion, solidarity, and environmental and intercultural respect. Thanks to its presence, Trasmulas has become a meeting place for young people and volunteers from different countries, revitalizing local life and creating new learning and collaboration opportunities for its inhabitants.

La Choza of Trasmulas
The Intercultural Life association is based at La Choza de Trasmulas, a pilot project in bio-construction, rural accommodation, and a center for lifelong learning. La Choza has many faces, yet always with the same goal: to contribute to the sustainable rural development of the Vega of Granada through education and rural tourism, as well as socio-cultural and environmental activities. I-life supported the construction of La Choza with a volunteer plan for filling the walls with earth and straw.
