Trainings

At Intercultural Life, we understand learning as a transformative and collective process.

Our training programmes are rooted in non-formal education and experiential learning, designed to foster critical thinking, personal empowerment, and active social engagement.

We collaborate with a team of youth and education professionals, along with individuals committed to social change, to co-create inclusive and meaningful learning experiences that address real needs and diverse contexts. Our work is guided by a strong commitment to equity, gender equality, and intercultural dialogue.

What do we do?

Intercultural and gender-sensitive approaches

Our trainings bring together youth workers from diverse backgrounds to reflect on power, identity, and participation. We create safe spaces for mutual learning and solidarity, especially centering women+, LGBTQ+ youth, and others facing systemic exclusion.

Participatory and accessible methodologies

All our programmes are designed to be reflective, creative, and adaptable. Whether in rural areas or intercultural urban settings, our approach ensures accessibility across physical, linguistic, economic, cultural and social barriers.

Experiential learning and inclusive spaces

We integrate outdoor and movement-based methodologies to support personal growth, build trust, and challenge social and gender-based barriers. Nature is not only a setting but also a tool to develop leadership, resilience, and connection among participants.

Capacity building and long-term impact

Training is just the beginning. We support participants to implement local activities and community projects, and we offer mentoring and follow-up to strengthen their work. Many of our programmes lead to new networks, collaborations, and long-term initiatives.
